How to reach us if you arrive by:
CAR
Unless you live within a 30 km range North or South of Sirmione (in which case you should already know the fastest route), the best way to reach Sirmione is the A4 motorway (Milan-Venice).
There is a Sirmione toll booth, with fairly clear signs on how to get to the historic center, or, if you are coming from the West (Milan) you can also exit at Desenzano and then take the “ring road”, two lanes but fast-flowing, then exit at the Sirmione sign, where the road reconnects with the one coming from the motorway.
Less advisable, however, for those coming from the East (Venice), is to exit at the Peschiera toll booth: there is a ring road but it is quite busy and the state road is long and has several traffic lights and speed cameras.
For information on motorway traffic (and weather conditions) you can check the motorway company website (with useful webcams):
http://www.autostrade.it/
We are inside the Historic Center, in a ZTL, WE DO NOT HAVE CAR PARKING inside the property
we have 1 uncovered MOTORBIKE SPACE, so if you arrive by motorbike you can ONLY, by prior arrangement to check availability and with AUTHORIZATION, drive and park in the ZTL.
HERE ARE THE OPTIONS FOR CARS:
1 Most convenient option: Grifoparking

3 The town’s main car park: Piazzale Montebaldo

4 Free options:

GRIFOPARKING, being reserved only for hotel guests, must be booked in advance; contact us and we will send you the e-ticket to access it via email or WhatsApp.
Last info about parking: when traffic increases, the local police stop cars about 3 km before the center, near the cemetery; to continue, just say you have a reservation at our hotel.

The closest airports are:
Catullo airport is connected to Verona FS station by a shuttle service every 20 min. (see details)
TRAIN:
Sirmione is located near the Milan-Venice railway line. There is no Sirmione train station, but, coming from the West you can get off at Desenzano and coming from the East get off at Peschiera, then take the bus to Sirmione in either case.
For train timetables, see the Railways website.
bus
You can take the bus either from Verona and Brescia (travel time: about one hour) or, more advisable, from Peschiera or Desenzano (travel time: about 20 minutes).
Buses usually run at a frequency of (at least) one per hour. Those to Verona usually arrive at 28' past each hour (having passed Desenzano station at 05'), those to Brescia at 12' past each hour (having passed Peschiera station at 55'). But it’s better to check a full list of Brescia-Verona timetables (with stops in Desenzano-Sirmione-Peschiera).
During the summer period there is also a shuttle that connects Colombare to Sirmione historic center every 15 min; the cost of one ride is €1
Ferry
It can be romantic to travel by ferry on the lake, for example if you get off at Desenzano FS station to reach the port it’s about 600 meters, downhill:
to know timetables and prices you can consult the website of Navigazione Laghi (Garda).
