Our houseGuest was born in the '50s with the grandmother Adriana and her husband Raffaello, a well-known artist of the area. The building was also their home, you can still see their old dining room on the ground floor, now converted into the breakfast room with the characteristic hand-painted ceiling in 1956. In 2008, after more than 50 years of continuous management, his son Jacopo decided to completely renovate (before they were rooms with only one shared bathroom per floor) and converted into the guest house that is now : each room has its own private bathroom and some have a small balcony overlooking the characteristic Strentelle alley, the picturesque road that connects the Scaliger Castle to the pretty Church of Santa Maria Maggiore whose origins date back to the 15th century. Jacopo himself, from good heir of an artist and being also a master of art, he decided to decorate each room by hand with very particular characteristic styles, in fact each room boasts a painting with tones and forms and different. From the period of the renovation to today, the third generation of the family has managed it: the nephew David and his partner Marta: we have made some improvements every year, in order to be able to grant our guests the greatest number of comforts possible.
